To the east, it borders the county of Devon, with the River Tamar bordering between them. Cornwall’s population is 568,210, and its area spans 3,563 km squared. Recent discoveries led to the realization that Cornwall had a larger Roman presence than previously believed, which makes Cornwall a historical landmark.
