Selkirkshire or the county of Selkirk is a historic county in Scotland, come and visit the bowhill house and country estate first built in 1708 and still, after 300 years it’s receiving visitors. With its venerable age, it features many different attractions, like colorful gardens playgrounds for your children to have little adventures, fishing for those who want a relaxing day and finally horse riding or if the estate is out of reach for you maybe you could take a look at the Lochcarron mill tour, where you can relax in their coffee shop browse the collections or even see how these tartans are woven. There is Halliwell’s house museum which is a free attraction and in the 18 century, it was a house for weavers and shoemakers it also has an exhibit on the burgh of Selkirk.
