As the Park Home and Holiday Park Association we are exposed to a lot of beautiful homes. Every day I am stunned by the great and innovative designs by the abundance of manufacturers out there. However, there are a few that have stood out to me in particular. So, in no particular order, here are my 3 favourite designs of the luxury lodges.
Kingfisher RT: Omar Group
I have been drooling over the Kingfisher RT since the day I learnt of its existence. What a dream it is. And to be honest, what’s there not to love? From a beautiful and smooth blend of neutrals to natural woods all around, it is the ideal home away from home.
Its exterior styling has a full glass facade with French doors and feature lighting. Not only is the exterior already absolutely breathtaking on its own. But you can also tailor it to your own taste, picking your desired finish and colour. Perfect for ensuring that your holiday lodge is fitting perfectly with any surrounding.
Now let’s talk about the interior! The sociable open-plan living space with a lounge, dining and kitchen area is ideal for memorable family moments. The soft and soothing colour scheme of neutrals and wood flows through to the bedrooms. And let me tell you, the master bedrooms certainly seem generous.
Now last but in no shape or form least, let’s talk about the roof terrace. With an exterior staircase running outside the home, it is the perfect setup for a relaxing holiday. I can already see the joys of waking up to clear blue skies (yes even in the UK), and a delicious cup of coffee ready to start my day. This roof terrace is also big enough to easily fit 2 sun loungers at the top, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine from the comforts of your own lodge park.
I think this lodge truly speaks for itself. Visit the Omar Group website to find out more about this beauty.
Hideaway Lodge: Wessex Park Homes
Unlike the previous lodge, this lodge screams comfort to me. Whilst the one above would be absolutely lovely for the warmer weathers, the hideaway gives me more of a cosy winter evening vibe with a delicious cup of hot chocolate. Don’t get me wrong, it is still as luxurious as ever.
The Hideaway is a true embodiment of lodge luxury. One thing that I love so much about this lodge is the panoramic folding doors that open up onto an integrated decking area. I love the idea of being able to look out onto beautiful surroundings. Allowing the fresh air to run through my body. It also allows you to completely open up your space, blurring the boundaries of the living space.
The openness continues through the home. The open-plan living area is spacious and light creating an overall comforting aura. Ideal for personal family time. Whilst the walls have white panelled ceiling and walls, the underfoot holds a luxurious combination of dark oak and soft twist carpet. I don’t know about you, but I think that the combination of luxury and comfort is ideal for a holiday home. Luxurious enough to feel like a holiday but cosy and comfortable to feel like a home.
The hideaway isn’t about its iconic exterior or absolutely beautiful interior but it’s about the overall feel and comfort it exerts onto you. And that is why it is one of my favourite lodge designs. If you’re curious to see more, they also have a virtual online tour. Have a look for yourself!
The Quantum – Tingdene
For a while I have been sitting here trying to figure out how to put it into words how amazing this lodge looks. But to be honest, I don’t need to. The images speak for themselves. Tingdene explain it perfectly,
“from the moment the morning sun streams into your kitchen to the evening final glass of fizz in the hot tub; each day spent at the Quantum brings time to revel in life’s little luxuries”
That’s exactly the feeling this lodge provides. Luxurious, elegant yet warm and homely. The countless tiny details take this lodge to its new elegance extremes. It appears as though everything is thought through. They are also built to the BS3632 standard which means that you get to stay in the for all year round if you wish too.
There are so many options to choose from. From variations of layouts to tailored designs, perfect to fit a family of any size.
The greatness doesn’t stop there. I think it’s evident that I love the idea of open-space living. In this lodge, we can see a beautiful blend of the kitchen, dining room and living room. Ideal for social nights with your close ones.
The roof terrace is honestly to die for. With an entrance from within, it holds numerous power sockets and ambient lighting to set the mood. Great for a romantic getaway with your loved ones. Romance does not have to be dead.
And that brings us to the end of our favourite luxury lodges. To tell you the truth, there are so many beauties out there. The choice is so diverse and versatile ensuring that there is the perfect luxury lodge for everyone out there. Make sure you look around and find the perfect home away from home for your family.
